The Wildcat Mountain Trail is located in Ouachita NAtional Forest near Perryville, Arkansas. The trail consists of two loops that form a figure 8. Both loops are fairly rocky, and one loop has more elevation change than the other. Nice panoramic views of the Ouachita Mountains make the effort worthwhile. A rocky scramble up Bobcat Point along the trail provides a great view of Wildcat Mountain. Some creek crossings.
Directions
Take Highway 9 to Forest Road 132, go west 4 miles to Forest Road 179, then South 300 feet to the trailhead.
