There are tons of trails and it's easy to wander around lost for awhile, though people on trail are helpful at pointing you back. The tangle of trails and ability to get offtrack really help to keep things interesting and keep your runs long. There are lots of mountain bikers so always keep a watch out for bikes. Not a great place to run with headphones. Not a ton of people out there even when it's busy b/c it's such a big park. Always take water when you go!!
Dogs aren't very welcome b/c of the many bikers. It would be very unsafe for all involved.

From Parmer and Lamar, take Lamar south a few blocks and turn right into the park and find parking in the lot. There are signs pointing in to Walnut Creek Park.

From 183 and Lamar, go north on Lamar watching for signs to the park, which is on your left. If you get to Parmer you've gone to far. The address is 12138 N. Lamar Blvd.
