The second annual Trespass Trail Challenge, organized by the Boulder Running Company, is set for Sunday, July 11, 2004 at 8 a.m. at the Nederland Elementary School in Nederland, CO. The challenging 5 off-road running race will benefit the Orphans of AIDS Trust Fund in South Africa.
All participants in the Five race, as well as volunteers, will receive a commemerative Sugoi sleeveless technifine running shirt (men?s and women?s sizes are available).
The Trespass Trail Challenge race course will begin at the Nederland Elementary School. After a 200m stretch of paved road, runners will veer onto dirt roads, taking Colorado Road 126 South to Caribou Road. The course continues to be rolling, making elevation gains, until the road separates at approximately 3.7 miles. Competitors in the 5 mile race will take a right-hand turn, circling back on dirt roads to finish at the school.
There will be TWO aid stations on the FIVE MILE course providing Eldorado Artesian Springs water, Clif Shots and Accelerade sports energy drink to racers. A sweep vehicle will follow the last runner.
Entry fees includes a Sugoi sleeveless technifine running shirt (men?s or women?s), aid stations (Eldorado Water, Accelerade and Clif Shots) and post race party!
From Boulder: Canyon Boulevard West through Boulder Canyon to Nederland. At traffic circle bear right onto Peak to Peak Highway (CO-72). Make a left onto Indian Peaks & follow signs and pavement to Nederland Elementary School.
