A 5K race, (3.1 miles) through the Maples subdivision. Several long and steep hills will challenge even the most avid runner. But this is not so difficult that it should discourage the average person from taking a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood (see map). Best time to date 18:47:00
From Kansas City, MO take I-70 West. Exit at K-7, US 73, Bonner Spring. Follow K-7 North to Lansing, approx 7 miles. Just as you enter Lansing, you'll pass 4-H road, then an MRI place on the right, the next main intersection is West Mary Road. Take a left on West Mary. At the end of West Mary, turn right on Desoto Road. Follow it about 1/4 of a mile. The church is on the right hand side, on the corner of Desoto and Ida roads.
