Start at the S. St. Vrain Trailhead just north of ward off of the peak to peak highway before you get to Tahosa Boy Scout Camp. Run up the South St. Vrain Trail. About mile 2 you will hit the gage station road, run pas the gate on the road to the trail marker up the hill. Run up the steep short hill till you get to top and traverse to the west, keep you eyes open and pass the Stapp lakes trail (I believe private) and run on the trail to the left, maintain and if you miss it yoe will hit a wash , just run uphill till you are back on the trail. Keep running and you will pass the Sourdough trail at mile 3.5 and then again in about .75 miles (or an extension of the sourdough). Keep running and you will pass a bunch of x-country trails to Braindard lake but stay on the main #909 S. St. Vrain Trail till you get to the west trailhead at the road up to Mitchell Lake trailhead.

Run up to the Mt. Audubon/Beaver Creek Trail Ext. and keep running at mile 1.5 you will see a junction take the left trail up Mt. Audubon to the top, turn around and run back to your car at the trailhead.

Get to the peak to peak highway (hwy 72) via Boulder Canyon and head north from nederland to ward. Pass ward and go till you see a sign for the boyscout camp. Make a left down that road and the trailhead is on the left side (south) of the road. Park you car by the trailhead on the makeshift shoulder.
