This is the traditional (since 1985) Thanksgiving weekend run. Come run off that Thanksgiving feast while supporting the San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program There is still a costume contest in the 5K-run as your favorite childhood toy. All registered runners receive a t-shirt with the event logo, a goodie bag, support, refreshments, and music. const The Music Concourse is the site for the post-race expo and is nestled between the deYoung Museum and the new California Academy of Sciences There are garages in the area, residential street parking, limited parking in the areas of Golden Gate Park not closed for the race, and the new parking garage is open under the Concourse and DeYoung Museum.From 19th Avenue, travel east on Lincoln or Fulton. The start area is about even with 7th-8th Avenues. You can also park at the Great Highway and take the Fulton bus ($1.50 each way.)
