One of America's most scenic runs, the course takes you from high desert through redrock canyons, majestic mesas and towering rock monoliths. A challenging course over the Colorado National Monument.In western Colorado, just south of Grand Junction at the east entrance to the Colorado National Monument.
There is no parking at the start and no parking at the finish of the race. Buses will start loading from Rimrock Adventures parking area at 6:15 a.m. Rimrock Adventures, 927 Hwy 340 (also known as Broadway), is located 1.3 miles south of Interstate 70, Exit 19 (Fruita). The last bus will leave no later than 7:15 a.m. Runners must provide their own transportation to Rimrock Adventures. Spectators may park near the start to watch the race begin but, to watch the finish, they must park at Rimrock Adventures and take the shuttle van to the finish.
