This race winds its way through the resort communities of Saugatuck and Douglas, along Lakeshore Drive, climbs 282 steps up Mt. Baldhead at the five mile mark, follows scenic trails with spectacular views of Lake Michigan, before going back into Saugatuck for the finish of the race. There is also a USATF certified 5K race all on the road without stairs!
From the South, I-196 to Exit 41. Blue Star Highway into downtown Saugatuck on the corner of Main and Water Streets.
