This is a very scenic run along the water in San Francisco. As you run, you have views of Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Marin Headlands. You also run through the Crissy Field recreation area, where you will see many birds, dogs, and wind surfers.
Begin at the monkey bars at the Marina Green and run west towards the Golden Gate Bridge. The run begins on a paved pedestrian/bike path, which turns into a san/gravel path after 3/4 of a mile. Follow this path until it ends at Fort Point. Turn around and retrace your steps back to your car.
This run begins at the monkey bars (across form the Safeway) at the Marina Green on Marina Boulevard at Webster. There is a parking lot at the Marina Green. You will see the Golden Gate Bridge to the west.
