This flat race course will begin and end at McCormick Park. Run will head north to the Rillito River, becoming a spacious soft dirt trail offering a scenic run/walk. Fun run is open to dog walkers, wheelchair athletes, seniors, and baby joggers.
Proceeds will go towards our Changing Lives campaign; geared towards funding scholarships to serve youth/families. Based on available resources, your YMCA?s practice is that no child is ever turned down due to inability to pay a program fee.
Awards in each 5-year age group to top 3 male & female finishers. T-shirts for all participants. $100 cash prize for top male/female runners. Live music, lots of food/beverages post race. Raffle with great prizes ($1/ticket).
FREE: 200 yd Fun Run for all kids 8 & under. Start time:9:30 am
Lighthouse/City YMCA, centrally located at 2900 N. Columbus Blvd. Between Fort Lowell and Glenn. Free shuttles running from nearby parking to start/finish line.
