The Jordan River Parkway is a paved, multi-use pathway suited to walkers and joggers, bicyclists and in-line skaters. The Parkway follows the Jordan River for 9 miles in Utah County from Inlet Park on the north end of Utah Lake, through Thanksgiving Point Golf Course, and on to the Jordan Narrows. At the Narrows it crosses the river and makes its way for nearly 25 miles through Salt Lake County.

The trail in Utah County is lightly traveled, providing a quieter, more rural experience than the Provo River Parkway. The route hugs the Jordan River, gently rising and falling along the way, but overall there is little change in elevation. Generally 8-10 feet wide and fully paved, the path is well suited to nearly all ages and experience levels.
The Parkway is some distance from town (Lehi), and the County Parks along the route provide the only services (restrooms and water from April through October).

The Jordan River Parkway follows the Jordan river that runs through the center of Salt lake City. Eventually the trail will connect from Utah county all they way to Davis County.

At 7800 South the trail begins at Gardner Village and heads north to approximately 2100 South. The trail also starts at 9400 South to 10600 South and 17000 South to the Utah County Line.

In Utah County the trail follows the Jordan River for 9 miles from Inlet park on the North end of Utah lake, through Thanksgiving Point Golf Course and on to the Utah county Line.

(The Jordan River State Park is also part of the Jordan River Parkway. It offers another 4.8 miles of paved path.)

The trail intersects roads at the Jordan River pumps at Utah Lake, on Lehi's main street, and at 1500 North.

Intersect the trail along any of the three roads described above. A good short out-and-back run is to catch the trail at main street and ride north to the turnaround at the Jordan Narrows, for a round trip of 10 very easy miles.

Pumphouse/model airplane field at Utah Lake (southernmost entry): GPS N 40? 21.723' W 111? 53.913'. (To get to the pump house, take Lehi Main Street west and turn left -- south -- just before you reach the river, following the flying field signs.)
Lehi Main Street (middle entry): drive west through Lehi on Main Street. About a mile after leaving town, you'll see the trail cross the road (about 100 yards east of the river), GPS N 40? 23.225' W 111? 54.101'. Or drive into Willow Park and catch the trail there.

Northern access: take State Street north in Lehi to 1500 North. Turn west and drive about 1.5 miles. You'll see the parking area for the trail at the river bridge, GPS N 40? 24.366' W 111? 53.887'.
