Forest Park has a 10k path around the park that travels past the major highlights of the park. The path is a combination of paved sections and light gravel path. There are also some extra short trails in the park that run through wooded areas or an alternate path that creates a shorter loop through the middle of the park. On the trail, you'll run by the St. Louis Zoo, two golf courses, Washington University, the History Museum, and the St. Louis Science Center. On Sundays the park is especially busy with runners, walkers, rollarbladers, and bicyclists.
Forest Park is located just north of I-40. One entrance to the park is at I-40 and Hampton Rd, but you can also enter the park from Kingshighway, Lindell, or Skinker Blvd.
