A longer version of the Ellis Hollow Creek Run, moderately hilly, and still scenic .
Start from Mt Pleasant Laundrymat parking lot at the intersection of Rt 366 and Mt Pleasant Rd. Go left onto Mt Pleasant Rd for a fairly steep climb of a couple hundred feet. Take a right at the intersection of Turkey Hill Rd. Go to the bottom of Turkey Hill and take a left at Ellis Hollow Creek Rd. Floow this for about four miles of gently rolling rural landscape and enjoy the scenery.
This time, instead of taking a right at the intersection with Ellis Hollow Rd, go LEFT. Ellis Hollow Creek Rd merges with Ellis Hollow Rd. Follow this up and down a couple of moderately steep hills until you reach Rt 79. Lots of traffic here, so be careful.
Take a RIGHT on 79 for about .25 miles until you reach Thomas Creek Rd, onto which you take a LEFT. Follow this until you reach Ellis Hollow Rd.
Run to the end of Ellis Hollow Rd and take a RIGHT onto Pine Tree Rd...again, watch for traffic...take this just a short ways, less than a mile, until you reach the 4 way blinking stop light intersection with Rt 366. Take a RIGHT, go up the hill, past the vet school, and continue down into the village of Varna, and back to the parking lot from where you started.
Take that, and go back down hill...if you are going to Cornell Campus you can take the East Hill Rec way trail at the bottom on Game Farm Rd...it is about 2 miles to the center of Cornell campus from there, otherwise continue on Game Farm Rd until you reach Rt 366, take a right and another .75 miles or so will take you back to Mt Pleasant Laundrymat parking lot.
Watch for cars, especially on Ellis Hollow Rd. and Rt 366, the other rds aren\'t too busy.
