The Columbiana Fall Classic (Formerly the Firestone Fall Classic) has been moved in location to the Ward Athletic Complex behind Columbiana High School. The course has one god sized hill in it, after that it is smooth sailing. It is an out and back course which starts and ends on the track. The first 100 registered entrants earn longsleeve T-shirts. There are 21 different age brackets for awards as well as special awards to the top three overall, and the top three masters individuals. This is the 11th annual race. Funds support the Columbiana Cross Country Program. You can get an application on the race web site. Justin Boggs claimed the course record with a time of 16:01 and Denise Galterio set the women's record with 20:54 on the new course.
From Cleveland take the turnpike to Rt76, Rt76 to Rt 11, get off at 46 turn left and head into town 6 miles. Get onto main street, go straight through the circle and past the railroad tracks. Turn left on Duquesne Street and go until it deadends into the school.
