The American Lung Association of Michigan along with the MSU Olin Health Center and IM Sports West is ruffling their tail feathers in preparation for the 17th annual Cold Turkey Trot. The Trot will be held on the campus of MSU.
The Trot is a community supported and celebrated event that reinforces the health benefits of being smoke-free. We encourage participants to dedicate their participation in the Cold Turkey Trot to a friend or family member who is trying to quit using tobacco, or to a recent quitter to support them in their efforts.
The race will begin at the IM West Sports Arena at 1:00 p.m. The 5K course follows along the Red Cedar River. It is a family-oriented event and there is also a children?s race. Little ?trotters? age 7-11 will be cheered on as they participate in a mile race with MSU?s mascot, Sparty.
