The 18th Annual Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival takes place on the University of Arkansas cross country course. This year's race is both the Arkansas, as well as the Southern Regional Cross Country Championships. The festival includes a 10K open division, both a collegiate men's and women's division (comprised of over 80 teams), two junior boys and girl's divisions and two senior high boys and two senior high girl's divisions, plus a 1-mile fun run/walk. Over 4,000 runners and 4,000 spectators will be in attendance for a great day of running. Each runner receives a full buffet lunch catered by Jose's Mexican Restaurant.

University of Arkansas cross country course is located in Agri Park off of Garland Avenue.
