Galilee UMC is proud to sponsor the 2nd annual Child Rescue Centre Benefit 10K Run and 2 Mile Walk. Your entire proceeds will directly support and benefit the Child Rescue Centre (CRC) in Bo, Sierra Leone Africa. The CRC is an orphanage that houses 40 full-time resident children and sponsors 100 children in foster homes. Long sleeve t-shirts provided to all participants. Gift certificate prizes awarded to top 3 runners both Male and Female.
It's a nice course through a neat subdivision with lots of big old trees and quiet country Lanes. USATF-Certified Course number : VA-05020-RT
From Leesburg and Ashburn (near Rt. 7):
Follow Rt. 7 East out of Leesburg
Just past the Route 28 interchange, take the Algonkian Parkway exit going North (the exit immediately after the Dulles Town Center exit)
Going North on Algonkian Parkway, take a left on Winding Road
Galilee UMC will be on your left toward the end of Winding Road.
From Sterling Park (near Rt. 28), Ashburn (near Waxpool Rd.), Dulles Airport, Dulles Toll Road / Greenway, Herndon, Chantilly:
Follow Rt. 28 North
Rt. 28 ends at Rt. 7, take the right hand exit onto Rt. 7 East
Take the the Algonkian Parkway exit going North (the exit immediately after the Dulles Town Center exit, just off the Rt 28 exit ramp)
Going North on Algonkian Parkway, take a left on Winding Road
Galilee UMC will be on your left toward the end of Winding Road.
From Countryside, Cascades, Sugarland, and Sterling Park all near Rt. 7, and from Reston, and the Capitol Beltway:
Follow Rt. 7 West
Just after the Countryside Boulevard light, exit right onto Algonkian Parkway going North.
Going North on Algonkian Parkway, take a left on Winding Road
Galilee UMC will be on your left toward the end of Winding Road.
From Countryside, Cascades, and Sugarland all near Algonkian Parkway:
Follow Algonkian Parkway as if taking Algonkian Parkway all the way to Dulles Town Center (generally in the South and West direction).
Just before the interchange with Route 7, turn right onto Winding Road.
Galilee UMC will be on your left toward the end of Winding Road
