The three mile loop cirles the outside road inside park limits. It is alot of fun to run around the Parthenon and the pond.
From North of Downtown Nashville: Take I-65 SOUTH towards Nashville, Continue through the I-65 SOUTH merge with I-24 EAST, Go towards NASHVILLE (left lanes), Continue on I-65/I-24 EAST approximately 1.8 miles, I-65 SOUTH and I-24 EAST split, Continue on I-65 SOUTH (right lanes), Proceed approximately 1.7 miles to where I-65 SOUTH/I-40 EAST merge, Continue on I-65 SOUTH/I-40 EAST(right lanes), Proceed .1 miles to the BROADWAY exit (209B), Turn right onto BROADWAY, Go approximately 0.3 miles - BROADWAY and WEST END AVENUE split, Continue on WEST END AVENUE (right lanes), Go approximately 1 mile - Centennial Park will be on the right, Turn right into Centennial Park - follow the signs to the Parthenon parking lot.
From East of Downtown Nashville: Take I-40 WEST towards Nashville, Continue through the I-40 WEST merge with I-24 WEST, Go towards NASHVILLE (right lanes), Continue on I-40/I-24 WEST approximately 1.7 miles, I-40 WEST and I-24 WEST split - stay on I-40 WEST (left lanes), Proceed approximately 1.6 miles to the BROADWAY exit (209A), At the top of the ramp, go to the second light, Turn left onto BROADWAY, Go approximately 0.3 miles - BROADWAY and WEST END AVENUE split, Continue on WEST END AVENUE (right lanes), Go approximately 1 mile - Centennial Park will be on the right, Turn right into Centennial Park - follow the signs to the Parthenon parking lot.
From South of downtown Nashville: Take I-65 NORTH towards Nashville, Proceed to where I-65 NORTH merges with I-40 WEST, Go Northwest (left lanes), Immediately merge into the right lanes of traffic, Proceed approximately .1 miles to the BROADWAY exit (209A), At the top of the ramp, go to the second light, Turn left onto BROADWAY, Go approximately 0.3 miles - BROADWAY and WEST END AVENUE split, Continue on WEST END AVENUE (right lanes), Go approximately 1 mile - Centennial Park will be on the right, Turn right into Centennial Park - follow the signs to the Parthenon parking lot.

I think the loop is only 1 mile long.
