While there are several trails at Dog Run Hollow (mostly shorter trails, around 1-2 miles each), the Buffalo trail is the longest loop at about 8 miles. Trail is fairly good quality although a little rocky. Be aware of Buffalo, and keep a safe distance.
Trail is open for running only during daylight hours.
From Oklahoma City, take I-44 south to Medicine Park/Hwy 49 exit and go west 14 mi. If coming from Lawton, take US62 west to Cache exit and go north 6 miles.
Once in the refuge, follow the signs to the Refuge HQ. Pass the headquarters and go on to the Dog Run Hollow Trail System (near French Lake).
