This benefit run/walk is in memory of 13-year old Brittany Lambert, who died in October 1998 after a 2 ? year battle with myelodisplasia, a rare blood disease that leads to cancer. All proceeds go to the Brittany Lambert Foundation, which will benefit families whose child/children have a life-threatening illness or injury. In its first six years, this race has raised nearly $130,000 to assist these families.
Course: A mostly flat, fast course with rolling hills through neighborhood streets in Duxbury. Ever seen cranberry bogs up close? It?s a beautiful fall race!
Raffle: All pre-registered runners and walkers will receive a complementary raffle entry. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased the day of the race.
