Tucson is a beautiful place to run, the air is fresh and clean. I would recommend staying in Host Hotel Hilton El Conquistador or the Holiday Inn Express. There is Bus service from those hotels directly to start of races and also bus service back to the hotel immediatly after race. The weather is generally high 30's to low 40's at the start and high 60's at the finish.

The race is gradually downhill. The half marathon has about 2500 runners. The half marathon also has walking allowed.

New finish! No hill at the end! The half-marathon course has been certified by USATF. The Bobbi Olson Half-Marathon supports the Bobbi Olson Ovarian Cancer Fund at the University of Arizona through the Better Than Ever Program. Bobbi Olson was the wife of U of A Basketball Coach Lute Olson who died of ovarian cancer.

You must get bused to the start of the race. Parking information on parking will be available at the Expo and in the Runners' Packets.
