This run is an out and back loop along a center median with slight rolling hills. There is one stop sign and one light, but very rarely do you have to stop for more than a couple of seconds. You can run Belle Meade Boulevard any time of the day-and there is plenty of parking at the end by "the Gates" leading into Percy Warner Park. One drawback is that the Belle Meade police strictly enforce running in single file along the median. Watch out! They'll give you a citation if you don't obey the rules.
You can run with your dog(s) if you run on the median.
From Downtown Nashville, drive south on West End Avenue for about 6-7 miles. About 1/2 mile after crossing White Bridge/Woodmont rd., the Belle Meade Police station and a big white church will be on your left. Right after the church, you will make a left turn onto Belle Meade Boulevard (look for the horse statues). This is one end of the Boulvard. Drive 2.5 miles down the Boulevard and you will see "The Gates". Park here and start your run.

I really enjoyed my run on Belle Meade Boulevard - and was amazed by the number of runners who run here! The homes along the road are beautiful and the road is a bit hilly so it makes for an interesting place to run.
