Start/Finish:
Back Bay Fens neighborhood of Boston at Roberto Clemente Field, also known as The Fenway.

Field size:
Limited to 4,500 entrants. A searchable entry list is posted on this web site.

Online REGISTRATION will open in July.

Bib numbers and entry are NOT transferable.

Entry fees are non-refundable and not deferrable.

Dana-Farber Runners:
The 2006 race is presented by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund, and Dana-Farber Runners use the half marathon as a fund raising event.

Also:
Since the event's inception, a portion of the entry fees is directed towards the Emerald Necklace Conservancy. The donation benefits the Emerald Necklace parks and neighboring communities and is used to maintain and preserve this treasured Boston landmark.

Course:
The 13.1-mile route showcases the beauty of Boston's Emerald Necklace park system in the grandeur of the fall season. The race course highlights many of Frederick Law Olmsted's developments, including the Jamaicaway, Riverway and Arborway. Franklin Park and the Franklin Park Zoo are also featured aspects of the route. The race does NOT include or go through Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox.

Prize Money and Awards:

Prize money will be distributed to the top finishers overall and in the masters and push rim wheelchair divisions.

Team prize money awards will also be awarded.

Age group awards will be presented at the post-race awards ceremony on race day.
