4.8 Mile Uphill race on Aspen Mountain's Summer Road.
Race begins at the base of Aspen Mountain at the Silver Queen Gondola, on Summer Road. Course follows Summer Road to the top of Aspen Mountain, passing aid stations at Gwyn's Restaurant (1.5 miles) and Bonnie's Restaurant (3.3 miles). Course is all uphill, elevation gain 3800 feet from 8,000 feet to 11,800 feet.
Muffins, age group awards, and raffle at top of mountain. Spectacular views and a free gondola ride down the mountain!
Race benefits the Aspen High School Cross Country Running Program.
