This slightly hilly paved loop circumnavigates the 180 acre Arvada Reservoir. As you climb the mesa on the north end of the lake, you get an excellent view of Arvada and downtown Devner in the distance.
There is an access fee if you are driving your car ($5), so I recommend parking across the street near the athletic fields. Access is free if you are on foot.
From Golden: take Hwy. 93 and head north to West 66th Avenue and go right to reach the Reservoir. The reservoir will be immediately on your left.
From Boulder: take Hwy. 93 and head south to West 66th Avenue and go right to reach the Reservoir. The reservoir will be immediately on your left.
From Arvada: take 66th Avenue west towards the mountains. Just before you reach Hwy. 93, the Reservoir will be on your right.
