The third time is the charm ... I hope. I have done other 100s, but Leadville has given me some problems both times I tried it. Two years in a row I missed the cutoff at around 70 miles.
I live and train in Boulder, CO around 5,300ft, but I really need to spend more time at higher altitudes the next time I train for Leadville ... and be more serious about my training. I need to focus on just one ultra that summer and make sure i am injury-free when I toe the starting line.
