A 2,160-acre lake made popular by Cincinnati boaters, its also the site of two abandoned gold mines. William H. Harsha Lake, former known as East Fork Lake, is located in southwestern Ohio, and is noted for Ordovician fossil beds. Although situated just a few miles from the Ohio River, the East Fork of the Miami River flows northward due to topography. The lake was completed by the Corps of Engineers in 1978.
