Got into running by accident I was very inactive till I needed to loose weight big time. I joined a gym and started walikng on a treadmill, lost weight and was constantly encouraged by a nice lady in my gym. One day she asked me if I'd be interested in doing a 5K. She was nice I am polite so I said sure. I had no idea what a 5k was. Much to my astonishment I had to run 3.1 miles!! I thought no way well I did it "under 30 mins". My second race was a 10k. The rest is now history I am about to do my fourth marathon and 5k is now not quite such a problem. Running not only gave me optimul health but has changed my life in Oh so many ways. Dave
