I haven't always been interested in or enjoyed running. I was active in sports in high school, but not in college (the freshman 15 hit me hard and fast). I began running originally to lose weight, but have found pure enjoyment from the exercise.
I love the way running makes me feel physically AND mentally. When I'm running, I feel I can do anything! My mind doesn't clear itself of daily troubles, but I feel like I can actually change what I don't like about my life. I enjoy running!
