The Idaho Cycling Enthusiasts are a club established in 1998 to encourage bicycling of all types for all levels of riders in Pocatello and Southeast Idaho.
Pocatello Tuesday Night Training Rides:
The rides will begin on Tuesday, April 6th.
Meet at Ross Park Parking Lot at 6 p.m.
A tradition in Pocatello is for cyclists to meet in the parking lot of the Ross Park swimming pool at about 6:00 pm on Tuesdays.
Usually, there are two or three groups informally named the A group, the B group, and the C group. The A group rides the hardest and if you can get dropped. The B group rides farily hard, and often has sprints to certain milestones on the course, but usually regroups after hard efforts. The C group rides without competition.
The rides are usually about 24-30 miles long looping out to Inkom and back. But sometimes the A group rides out to McCammon making a 50 mile loop. Another variation includes a Rapid Creek/Buckskin hill ride on the way back from Inkom.
