I'm a casual/sporadically serious runner. I've done a few 5Ks and 10Ks and I'm considering doing something longer, but feel no moral imperative to. I prefer trails to pavement, with rolling terrain being my favorite. I have some vague aspiration to do mountain running but it seems too crazy hard at the moment. (This moment has lasted approximately two years.)
I have an old mountain bike that I use mostly as an alternative to running. It's nice to fly down a hill on wheels, don't you know. Favor local Boulder/Louisville trails like Marshall Mesa and White Cliffs. Thinking of getting a road bike but uneasy about the prospect of wearing clothes made of NASCAR decals.
Getting more into mountain hiking lately. Done a couple of near-14ers in the last month and would like to do an relatively unimposing 14er soon. Thinking Bierstadt or something else conveniently located and not too vertical.
