The DC Road Runners Club (DCRRC) is committed to promoting the sport of running and racing in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. We provide a year-round schedule of running events (races, training sessions, coaching, etc.) that offer everyone a chance to participate regardless of age, gender, or athletic ability.
Saturday Long Run (SLR) - Held every Saturday morning (rain, shine, even hurricane) at the Iwo Jima Memorial in Arlington, VA. Paces on these distance runs generally range between 7 and 10 minutes-per-mile, but we have many faster and many slower. You only need to run your own pace.

Wednesday Night Track Workouts - Here's the inside track on setting PRs: Whether you are attempting your first half-marathon, hoping to qualify for the Boston Marathon, or pursuing an Olympic Trials QT for 10,000 meters, our speed sessions will help you meet your running goals. To feel the burn--and have fun doing it--join us for our Wednesday night track
workouts, starting at 7:00 p.m. at Washington & Lee High School in Ballston. Personal training advice is available from the USA Track & Field-certified coach, as well as from the many other "regulars" who have experienced the highs and lows of training, injuries, and competition. Novice runners are always given a workout suitable to their level of fitness. This is the best place in town to meet other committed runners dedicated to improving their level of performance.
