The Albuquerque Road Runners welcome runners, joggers and walkers of all abilities. Members range from occasional joggers to elite racers, from high school students to senior citizens.

Founded in 1985, the Albuquerque Road Runners club is Albuquerque's oldest and largest open running club created solely for the promotion of health through running.

Members find camaraderie, receive discounts at Fleet Feet Sports, a monthly club newsletter, membership in Road Runner's Club of America, America's largest running organization with over 675 affiliated clubs and 190,000 members, "FOOTNOTES," the quarterly newsletter of the RRCA and reduced rates for some club sponsored races. Members can also attend monthly club meetings with periodic guest speakers. Members are encouraged to participate in regular group runs, including trail runs, interval sessions, fun runs, and handicap runs. We also sponsor many social events.
