I find as I get older I really love the longer races...At least I remain somewhat competitive in them....LOL
Was a low 16's 5K runner in high school and find that a 17:15-17:30 is a good time for me now.
10k's clocking 37-38
1/2's around 1:22:00 - 1:30:00
Marathons 3:00:00 - 3:30:00
50's 8:45:00 - 9:15:00
21 years active duty Navy and the hardest thing for my running is finding the time to put in the miles and hours. Getting out once a day to do something is easy to make it worth it is hard.
Clocked a 1:25:20 1/2 in Seattle in 2003 and fell off hard and came up lame on the back end finishing at 3:20:47. Mabe one day I will actually learn to train and run a negative split. :)
