I began running when I reach 220 lbs and realized that I needed to do something proactive to stay in shape. After two months of training I could run 2 miles. A friend asked if I could get to 3 miles in one more month. I said yeah, think so. And was then challenged to sign up for our local 5k race, the Chase of Champions. I had a blast and was hooked. Running has been an enhacement to my life and provides a constant and yet changing challenge.
