3F Bicycling Club (3f_bicycling) : Member Profile : Thoos

The 3F Bicycling Club, based in Orange County, California, seeks to unite riders from all bicycling clubs in a non-competitive and primarily social environment. We believe in three basic philosophies: fitness, fun and most importantly, friendship. We believe the only way to foster such an environment is to avoid club politics by positioning ourselves neutrally amongst all the other bicycling clubs.

Nobody Gets Left Behind!

Although it's entirely possible that many members of the 3F Bicycling Club are training for upcoming competitive events, when you ride with us, you'll know that our events are not timed and you're not going to be left behind. We make regular stops along routes to assure that everyone is safe, and even more importantly, enjoying themselves. On rides organized by the 3F Bicycling Club, a senior member will always ride with the last person in the group. We want you to help you get stronger!

We Encourage Volunteerism

The 3F Bicycling Club encourages volunteerism, docent training, trail maintenance, and advocacy. We align ourselves with such organizations as the The Nature Conservancy, Irvine Ranch Land Reserve, the Irvine Open Space Preserve and the Laguna Greenbelt in the pursuit of such challenges.

We host rides every weekend and we also cross post rides from other mountain biking groups all around Southern California. Occassionally we'll also post social events like mountain bike movie screenings at the local brewery.
