This route is 3.5 miles one way or about 7 miles out-and-back. If beginning at the Toadstool Park, the trail is fairly flat and begins on an established walking path. Then, the trail follows a creek bed through some interesting geological scenery (eroded clay/sandstone formations) and continues on through some grasslands, becomming slightly hilly. The scenery is gorgeous and well worth the $3 park fee to get in.
Toilets and water are available at both ends of this run. You can also camp for about $5/night if interested.
