The Soldiers Trail is a 5+ (although it is marked 6)mile loop around Fort Tuthill County Park. The trail is singletrack and doubletrack, and free from motorized use.

Starting at the trailhead, follow the Urban Trail north 1/2 mile to the signed junction with the Soldiers Trail. By adding the Bridge trail (off of the Urban trail) and following it like a bow, you can get about 7 miles of running.

Park hours are 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and the park is open year-round. Bring your own water for this loop.

Fort Tuthill County Park is three miles south of Flagstaff across Highway 89 and Interstate 17 (Exit 337) from the Pulliam Airport.

From Flagstaff: Travel south on Highway 89A or Interstate 17 and turn right into the park.

From Sedona: Travel north on Highway 89A.

From Phoenix: Travel north on Interstate 17 to Exit 337; turn left and head straight into the park.
