Also called the Tate Roberts Memorial Perimeter Trail. The Sewanee Outdoor Program manages the beautiful Perimeter Trail. The trail, is approximately 20 miles and has stunning views. Access points on the trail include Morgan Steep, Proctor's Hall, Green's View, the University Gates, and the Cross. Sewanee is a very small town; stop in a store somewhere and ask for directions to any of these access points.
NOTE: THIS TRAIL IS A RESTRICTED ACCESS AREA. The trail is open for University of the South students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Use by individuals and groups not associated with the University is currently under consideration, and will be considered on a case by case basis until an official policy is determined. For maps and more information, please stop by the SOP office in the Bishop's Common.
