Otherwise it offers a cool, shady hike through one of This is a nice run, starting out easy through a valley, following a stream that you will cross many times (prepare to get muddy!!) The trail is well maintained, accessible and well marked.

At the last stream crossing the trail begins a steep ascent along a ridge. There is more sun and heat exposure at this point. At the summit, enjoy views of Haiku Valley and Kaneohe Bay.

Don't forget to bring water, wear sunscreen, and mosquito repellent.

PLEASE NOTE: Entry past the gate in Moanalua Valley Park requires written permission from the Damon Estate. Call the Moanalua Gardens Foundation at 808-839-5334 or Moanalua Gardens at 808-833-1944

Off H1 Freeway on Exit 19B, Moanalua Valley - right on Ala Aolani Street to Moanalua Valley Park.
