PJ HOFFMASTER STATE PARK

Introduction P.J. Hoffmaster State Park features forest covered dunes along nearly 3 miles of Lake Michigan shore. Its sandy beach is one of the finest anywhere. A focal point of the park is the Gillette Visitor Center.

The campground is closed for winter. Information about winter camping opportunities is available on the DNR web site.

Location Use exit #4 off of I-96 and follow the signs or take the Pontaluna Rd. Exit off of US-31 N.

Directions

US-31 to Pontaluna Rd. exit, go W. 3 miles to park entrance. Alt. Rte: Exit #4 I-96. Follow signs W. 6 miles to park entrance.
