The Conewago Trail has a flat cinder and earth surface. The rail-trail passes through wooded sections with a canopy of trees, pastoral meadows, active farms and beautiful sections along the meandering Conewago Creek. The total distance one way is 5 miles. Bring your own water.
For a longer run, you can link this trail up to the Lebanon Valley Rail-Trail which runs another 8 miles to Cornwall. Future additions will stretch this rail-trail 20 continuous miles from Elizabethtown to Lebanon.
