The Adidas/Amazon Trail in Eugene is an ideal place for any structured running workout. It features a wide, well-maintained woodchip path that is 1 mile long, marked every 1/4 mile. There is also a sub-loop that is 1000 meters long, marked every 100 meters. The mile loop even has lighting to allow for late night or early morning training sessions. There is no noticeable elevation change, so the only thing that might slow you down is the soft footing, which is even softer during Eugene's rainy winters. The Trail is a common meeting place for Eugene runners, with access to the South Eugene High School track (300 meters away) and the Rexius Trail, a 3.5 mile, flat woodchip loop marked every 1/4 mile (3/4 mile away). It's also a great place to see the area's top runners pound out some amazing workouts. Early mornings and weekends might be the best time to see Marla Runyan, Bill Dellinger's group, and University of Oregon runners. But at all times of day and night you will find runners of all ability levels enjoying this terrific trail.

If you are driving, park at the South Eugene High School track parking lot near East 24th Avenue and Amazon Parkway. The Adidas/Amazon Trail is south of East 24th Avenue and east of Amazon Parkway.
