Waahila Ridge Trail is 2.4 miles up or 4.8 miles out-and-back. The trail ascendsd quickly up the ridge between Manoa and Palolo Valley, going in and out of forest. this is a good hill workout! The run offers spectular views of Manoa Valley, Palolo Valley, Honolulu and the Koolau Range. This trail ends at an intersection with Kolowalu Trail. Reverse route back down to the parking lot. The Kolowalu Trail ends at a different location, but you could take that back down and find your way back to the parking lot.

From Waialae Avenue, proceed up St. Louis Drive. Wind up the road, turning right on Peter St. near the top. At the end of Peter (at the cul-de-sac), turn left on Ruth St., continuing into Wa`ahila Ridge State Park. Park in the provided parking lot and follow trailhead signs.
