Vail Nordic Center

Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are available at the Nordic Center at the Vail Golf Course. Free parking is available or shuttle service is provided from the Vail Village Transportation Center. For more information call 970-476-8366.

There are about 10 miles of trails. The trail cover the Vail golf course and are mostly flat to rolling. They are located on the north side of the mountain so they can get shade in the afternoon and the snow temparatures can vary significantly depending on were you are on the course. The far east end tends to stay in the shade for half the day.

The best part is that the trails are free. There is no trail fee and the parking is free also.
