Several local runners meet every Thursday evening at 5:15 PM - rain, shine or hurricane- to run this course. Their ages range from 17 yrs. to 66+ yrs. Both males and females are present but most runners are men. Most of the runners are also members of the local Mangum Track Club (visit web site: "mangumtc.org") but visitors are quite welcome. The group usually stays together the first few miles at a 9-10+ min/mile pace. The pace increases to 6-8+ min/mile toward the end of the run depending on the energy and abilities of the runners.

I use this run as a tempo run when training for a race or just enjoy the company of the other runners when training for fitness.
