The Tour de Palm Springs is a fun, non-competitive cycling tour for everyone. Riders may choose to go the following distances: 5, 10, 25, 55, or 100 miles. This cycling event benefits area charities. In 2005, funds raised will go to Angel View Criplled Children and 30 other local charities.

Online registration available at www.active.com. Registration fees are as follows:

Adults (19 & older):
100 Miles $50 through 1/28/2005, then $60 after
55 Miles $50 through 1/28/2005, then $60 after
25 Miles $25 through 1/28/2005, then $35 after
10 Miles $15 through 1/28/2005, then $20 after
5 Miles$15 through 1/28/2005, then $20 after

Kids (18 & under):
100 Miles $50 through 1/28/2005, then $60 after
55 Miles $50 through 1/28/2005, then $60 after
25 Miles $10 through 1/28/2005, then $20 after
10 Miles $10 through 1/28/2005, then $15 after
5 Miles$10 through 1/28/2005, then $15 after

Fees increase after January 28, 2005

The event starts at Palm Springs High School on 2401 Baristo Road.

From the West:
Take I-10 to the Palm Springs Hwy 111 exit and go 12 miles until you come into town. Turn left on Vista Chino and go a couple of miles to Farrell Road and turn right. Go 3 miles to Baristo Road and turn right. Parking will be in the Palm Springs High School parking lot on the left. The start area and registration is at the entrance to the school.

From the East:
Take I-10 and exit Ramon Road / Bob Hope exit and turn left. Go about 7 miles on Ramon road and turn right on Farrell Road. Turn left on Baristo and the Palm Springs High School parking lot is on the left.
