From 8,000 feet to 10,000 plus feet elevation. Gravel, dirt underfoot. Start at Vail Village and reach the summit of Vail Mountain. Scenic.
Take I 70 to the #176 exit in Vail, CO and park at the Village or Lionshead parking structure (free in summer).
