The Statesman Capitol 10,000 is the largest 10K in Texas and an annual rite of spring in Austin, Texas. This is the 30th Anniversary of the Capitol 10,000. It attracts the silly to the serious and has become a fun, festive tradition for the whole family. Get Your Feet on the Street! Bring your friends. See you there! The race starting line is located at Congress Avenue and Barton Springs Road. From I-35 exit Riverside Drive. Head west (toward town) approx. 3/4 mile. Parking is located at the Texas Department of Transportation parking lots at 200 E. Riverside Drive. The starting line is located west of the TX DOT parking lots on Congress Ave.
