This a classic east-coast style wooded run. These woods are dense enough to let you forget that you are in the middle of a fairly well populated urban area. The rolling hills, logs to jump over, and a few bridges give this route a nice cross-country feel. The trail zig-zags its way through the woods in such a way that you will be able to see who is in front of you or behind you easily. Watch for roots and stumps. Added to the Wite and Blue trails that link to this trail, you can get up to 9-10 miles of running in this area.
Take I-40 to Sycamore View and proceed north on Sycamore View to Bartlett Rd. Proceed north on Bartlett Rd. to Yale Rd. then left. The parking lot is on the right (100 yards from the Bartlett Rd. and Yale Road intersection).
